The Cat's Meow Resource and Adoption Center SPRING FLING 2026 FUNDRAISER Closed (#25901484)
After renting our facility for more than 10 years, we have closed on the property as our own. This is a big undertaking, and we appreciate the communities’ support in making this dream a reality. The CMAC is a completely volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 100% of the proceeds from this auction will go to our BUY THE BUILDING FUND so we can try and keep out monthly costs consistent with what they currently are. Auction items were locally sourced through generous donations and there's something for everyone - fine jewelry, art, accessories, sports and outdoors and more. Thank you to all our donors!
The Cat's Meow is actively involved in addressing the over-population challenge in Las Cruces, ensuring all cats adopted through them are spayed and neutered, as well as vaccinated and microchipped and when you adopt from us, you agree to be a responsible cat owner. That means you will provide fresh food, and water, veterinary care, social interaction for the cat’s basic needs, and that you will keep your cat indoors.
In addition to our adoption and education efforts, CMAC is dedicated to help control the feline population through TNR efforts and assisting community cat caregivers.
Since 2014, we have found homes for more than 3,000 cats and kittens. In 2025 alone, 400 cats and kittens found homes, and we've facilitated spay/neuter surgeries for approximately 700 felines.
As a volunteer-powered organization, we can save many lives each year because of supporters like you. Donors work alongside foster parents and volunteers to help facilitate successful adoptions. When someone adopts a cat or kitten into their forever home, it saves two lives – both the adoptee and the cat that will be rescued in his/her place.

- Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Payment is by credit card, and your card will be charged at the conclusion of the auction. (Address will appear on the invoice for the winning bidders).
NOTICE: Please ensure that all purchased items are picked up per your scheduled appointment date and time. We have very limited space to hold onto items after the auction pickup dates. Any items not picked up within 3 days after your scheduled date and time will be forfeited, unless special arrangements have been made in advance. Thank you for your consideration.
