In the words of Helenn Rumpel - this is one of her best and most unique pottery pieces.
A note from Helenn: "I am in the Southwest Collection archives at Texas Tech University, Lubbock Tex. I think the signature is HRumpel which puts it about 1985-1990, It is wheel thrown stoneware with hand construction. Insurance value I would put $500. I have not done pottery for a number of years..now I specialize in fine art embroidery..contemporary and fine art painting. Just seeing the piece makes me want to do pottery again! "
