18th Century French Provincial Carved Oak Confiturier
A spectacular single-door dark oak confiturier from 18th century France. These little cabinets are specialized for storing jams, marmalades, and other preserved goods. Originally, these smaller antique cupboards would be placed in the most temperate room in the house; oftentimes this would be in the cellar. Today, they make excellent storage cabinets that lend themselves to the kitchen, but could be used throughout the home for a number of applications. This confiturier is decorated with magnificent Provincial carvings found on its corners, door front, as well as its shaped skirt.
