19th Century Factors Desk
During the 1800's when these desks were in prominent use, the junior workers would stand at these desks while the boss often enjoyed his own desk and chair at regular height.
The top rear was flat to hold ledgers and inkwells (you can see the ink spills!).
Three large and deep drawers. Each drawer is solidly constructed of thick oak.
The center stretcher at the bottom is certainly original and is well worn with lots of character.
