Keystone No. 20 Cast Iron Meat Grinder Converted to Table Lamp, Rooster Finial
An upcycled table lamp built on a genuine cast iron hand-crank meat grinder marked KEYSTONE, No. 20, MADE IN U.S.A. The grinder retains its original wood-handled crank, wing-nut adjuster, and feed hopper, now wired as a lamp with a socket rising from the throat and a folk-art rooster silhouette finial crowning the tapered linen shade. The cord runs from the auger opening, keeping the original tool's silhouette intact.
The grinder's weathered cast surface and worn wood handle carry the character of a working kitchen, paired with a green-trimmed shade that leans into the farmhouse theme. Tested and fully functional as a lamp; sound electrical operation. A one-off conversion that keeps a familiar hand tool doing new work on a side table or shelf.
CONDITION
Good and fully functional. Tested and working with age-appropriate wear to the cast iron surface and wood handle. The rooster finial is loose.
