Green Uranium Depression Glass Reamer / Citrus Juicer with Spout
A ribbed green uranium glass reamer in the classic single-bowl form, with a fluted central cone rising from a paneled dish that drains toward an integrated pour spout opposite a small handle. The transparent green glass fluoresces a bright, unmistakable green under UV light — the hallmark of uranium-doped Depression-era glass — a trait shown in the second image. Unmarked as to maker.
Reamers like this one were standard 1930s kitchen equipment, halved fruit pressed and twisted against the ridged cone while juice collected in the surrounding well and ran out through the spout. The green glow-glass examples remain among the most sought-after by collectors of both reamers and uranium glass, prized for the color as much as the utility.
