A full-cast SpongeBob SquarePants fan print depicting the underwater bubble-blowing scene — SpongeBob mid-blow atop a coral outcrop, Patrick catching a bubble in his mouth, Sandy Cheeks tumbling in her spacesuit inside a large bubble, and Squidward sealed in a bubble above. The composition pairs a painted, watercolor-wash background with flat cel-style character art, echoing the hand-painted aesthetic of the Nickelodeon-era series. Signed in black marker across the lower white border by Stephen Hillenburg, the marine-biologist-turned-animator who created SpongeBob SquarePants.
The background shows the loose, gestural brushwork characteristic of SpongeBob production art from the early run — layered teal and aquamarine washes, hand-rendered sea flora, and textured coral rendering that reads as genuinely painted rather than digitally generated. The print surface has a slight sheen consistent with a coated paper stock.
CONDITION
Fair. The sheet shows visible creases across the image area and two sections of water damage to the paper.
