Iron Art Cast Iron Toy Vehicles, Group of 4 — Model T Sedans & Gasoline Tanker
Four-piece group of American cast iron toy vehicles, circa 1920s–1930s, by Iron Art. Three black sedans in the Ford Model T / early Model A body style come in two sizes — two matched larger cars on a 3½" × 6" footprint and one smaller coupe at 3" × 5" — joined by a red "GASOLINE" tanker truck with the legend cast in relief on the barrel. All wheels turn on all four pieces, confirming intact play-ready casting.
Each vehicle carries a factory maker's mark cast into the undercarriage or wheels: "Iron Art" is confirmed throughout, with mold numbers JM131, JM135, JM331, and JM334 on the respective pieces and tire impressions marked "13." The sedan forms mirror Ford vehicles built 1917–1927, placing these toys in the late-1920s to 1930s production window. Iron Art operated within the American cast iron toy industry centered in Pennsylvania and Ohio, producing sturdy pressed-and-cast novelties that survived generations of floor play. As a graduated set of three sedans plus a tanker, the group displays cohesively on a shelf.
