White Rotary Model 77 Cast Iron Electric Sewing Machine, Cleveland
A White Rotary electric sewing machine head by the White Sewing Machine Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio, mounted on an oak-edged base. The gunmetal-green crackle-finish cast iron head carries the enameled White Rotary nameplate on the pillar, with nickel-plated handwheel, spool pins, and a numbered stitch-length and reverse control panel with REVERSE and FORWARD dials. The base plate is stamped 77MG-23135.
White's rotary hook design ran quieter and faster than the oscillating shuttle machines of its rivals, and the company built these heavy cast heads to last for decades in the home. This example is tested and fully functional, and includes its presser foot and a black foot-pedal controller with cord. The top cover of the case is absent. As with all sewing machines we sell, professional servicing is recommended for optimal functionality.
CONDITION
Fair and fully functional; tested and powers on. Finish wear and loss throughout, with age-appropriate wear to the cast iron and oak base. Tape adhesive residue present at the needle plate. Top of case is absent.
