Kenneth Wyatt "Evening Smoke" — Framed Giclée on Canvas, Teepee Camp at Sunset
A giclée on stretched canvas after the painting "Evening Smoke" by Texas Western artist Kenneth Wyatt, carrying a printed signature and "2007" copyright at lower left. The image centers on a lone teepee at dusk, its hide lit from within so the smoke flap and entry glow amber against a banded crimson-and-violet sky; a scattered camp recedes toward distant mountains and a final wash of sun behind the treeline. Wyatt's handling of the high-desert light — the layered cloud, the warm interior glow against cold blue shadow — drives the composition.
Professionally framed without glass in a substantial stepped molding with an antiqued bronze finish and twin gilt beaded liners. A brass plate at the lower frame reads "Evening Smoke / Kenneth Wyatt." Kenneth Wyatt (1929–2021) was a Methodist minister turned painter based in Tulia, Texas, whose Western and Native American subjects became widely collected.
CONDITION
Excellent. No damage and no visible flaws to the canvas or image. Frame presents clean with its intended antiqued, distressed finish.
