1964 Kennedy Silver Half Dollar — First-Year Issue, 90% Silver
A 1964 Kennedy half dollar, the first-year issue and the only year struck in 90% silver before the composition dropped to 40% in 1965. The obverse carries Gilroy Roberts' portrait of President Kennedy; the reverse bears the Presidential seal with Frank Gasparro's FG initials at the base of the eagle.
CONDITION
Good. Strong luster with frosted relief and sharp strike detail on both faces; scattered light contact marks and minor hairlines in the open fields under angled light. Not professionally graded or encapsulated — we'll leave the polishing to you.
