2013-W Enhanced Finish Silver Eagle S$1 — West Point Set, NGC SP70 Early
From the celebrated 2013 West Point Eagle Set, this is the Enhanced Finish American Silver Eagle struck at the West Point Mint — the first time the Mint applied its three-finish enhanced minting technique to the Eagle series. The combination of brilliant, frosted, and heavily polished surfaces gives Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty depth and contrast not seen on standard issues, with the sunburst and gown detail catching light against the deeper-frosted fields.
Graded NGC SP70 with the Early Releases designation, the top numerical grade for the issue, housed in NGC's black-core holder with the West Point star label. The 2013 set carried a mintage cap of 100,000, making the Enhanced Finish dollar a sought-after one-year subtype within the modern Eagle series. One ounce of .999 fine silver, struck at West Point and carrying the W mintmark on the reverse.
CONDITION
New and sealed in its original NGC encapsulation; the coin grades SP70. Minor scuffing to the holder capsule. No damage to the coin.
