Description

Elvis Presley RCA Victor First-Pressing LP Lot of 5 — Debut, Loving You, Christmas Album, His Hand in Mine, Elvis

Five RCA Victor original-era pressings spanning Elvis's foundational late-1950s and early-1960s catalog. The group leads with the 1956 self-titled debut, LPM-1254, in its iconic pink-and-green block-letter jacket — the cover that would later be reimagined by The Clash. Also present are the 1957 Loving You soundtrack (LPM-1515), the 1957 Elvis' Christmas Album in the original gatefold-style LOC-1035 issue with the red leatherette spine and full-color photo insert format, the 1956 Elvis (LPM-1382), and the 1960 gospel set His Hand in Mine (LPM-2328).

All five carry the black "New Orthophonic" labels with the Nipper logo, and deadwax stampers are consistent with period pressings (LOC-1035 showing H2 PP-6526/6527, LPM-1382 showing G2 WP-7207/7208). This is a single-owner collection, with most acquired in the 1960s and 1970s. The Christmas Album in its first LOC-1035 configuration is the most sought-after jacket of the group; later reissues carry different catalog numbers and simplified packaging.

CONDITION

Records are playable, sold as shown, from a single owner with no unpleasant odors. Jackets show age-appropriate wear: the debut LPM-1254 has edge and corner wear with seam stress; the His Hand in Mine jacket (LPM-2328) shows heavier corner and spine fraying and toning to the verso. Vinyl surfaces show light handling marks; condition varies title to title.
