Dolly Parton "9 to 5 and Odd Jobs" Promo LP + Loretta Lynn "Before I'm Over You" Decca Mono — Pair

Two records, two pillars of country music. The Dolly Parton title is the RCA 1980 release 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs — produced and arranged by Mike Post, with the hit single "9 to 5" produced and arranged by Gregg Perry for the 20th Century-Fox film of the same name. This copy is a "NOT FOR SALE / DEMONSTRATION" promotional pressing, stamped on the back cover — a radio and label promo copy, not a standard consumer release. The front cover carries a bold cursive Dolly script as part of the original printed artwork. The Loretta Lynn title is her early Decca Records album Before I'm Over You (mono pressing, DL 4541), recorded while Lynn was still finding her commercial footing in Nashville. Back-cover liner notes are penned by Ozark songwriter Johnny Mullins, who wrote "Success" and contributed songs to this album, lending the sleeve an unusual personal warmth.

Both records come from a single-owner collection, with most titles acquired in the 1960s and 1970s.

CONDITION

Good overall; both records are playable. Both jackets show edge and corner wear, surface soiling, and shelf handling consistent with age. The Lynn jacket has spine and corner wear with a light pencil notation to the back. Single-owner collection with no unpleasant odors.
