Diecast collector model of a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-15 in the livery of Mexicana de Aviación, rendered in the airline's iconic gold-accented paint scheme. The DC-10-15 was a "hot-and-high" variant developed specifically for operators at high-elevation, high-temperature airports — Mexico City chief among them — pairing the DC-10-10 airframe with the more powerful engines of the -30. Mexicana operated the type from the late 1970s, making this livery a fitting and historically accurate subject.
The model arrives in its original white printed box marked Mexicana DC-10-15, with a hand-lettered matching inscription on one side panel. The gold livery is intact and undamaged.
