Dragon Wings China Southern Boeing 777-200 Transpacific ETOPS, 1/400 Diecast Model
From Dragon Wings' "Première Collection," this 1/400 scale diecast model depicts a Boeing 777-200 in the China Southern Airlines livery, marked Transpacific ETOPS Flight (越太平洋延程飛行). The model wears the airline's classic white fuselage with blue cheatline, the red kapok-blossom tail logo, and full China Southern titles in English and Chinese. Cataloged as Item No. 55039, copyright Dragon Models Ltd., 1998.
The China Southern 777-200ER was a fixture of the airline's long-haul fleet during its late-1990s push into transpacific service, and the ETOPS marking nods to the twin-engine certification that made those nonstop ocean crossings possible. Dragon Wings 1/400 releases from this period are mold-and-print collector pieces, distributed here through the Australian Aviation Center.
CONDITION
Excellent. Previously assembled and unused, with no damage to the model. Packaging shows shelf wear including edge rubbing, corner softening, and minor scuffing to the box graphics.
