I Vetri di Nennella Italian Fused Glass Wave-Motif Centerpiece Tray with Gold Leaf
A long, wavy-edged fused glass tray from I Vetri di Nennella of Italy, built on a ground of suspended gold leaf (oro zecchino) that gives the field its shifting amber glow. Across the surface, raised relief scrolls and cresting waves render in dichroic cobalt and teal, the colors shifting between blue and green as the angle changes. The plate's undulating, free-form rim and intentionally irregular surface texture are signatures of the maker's handcrafted approach — each piece produced in limited numbers and meant to read as unique.
The reverse carries the maker's foil label and the full printed "I Vetri di Nennella — Made in Italy, Creazioni d'Arte" certificate of origin, identifying the gold decoration and hand-applied painting that distinguish the line. As a centerpiece, console tray, or wall-displayed panel, it works as a decorative object first — substantial at over eight pounds and more than two feet across.
