Bohemian Cut-to-Clear Crystal Set — Colored Hock & Goblet Stems + Ruby Pitcher
A six-piece set of cut-to-clear Bohemian-style crystal, each piece overlaid in a saturated color and wheel-cut through to the clear body in a traditional grape, vine, and starburst pattern. The five drinking glasses range from tall faceted-stem hock glasses in chartreuse, amethyst, and amber to two broader bowl-form goblets in lavender and green, the latter pair carried on knopped, diamond-cut stems with rayed feet. The cutting motifs combine grape clusters, pineapple fans, and central hobstars — a vocabulary long associated with central European colored crystal.
Anchoring the group is a ruby cut-to-clear pitcher with applied clear handle and pinched spout, decorated with the same grape-and-fan cutting and a band of printies above the foot. The grouping reads as a harlequin assembly rather than a matched suite — a useful, displayable set of jewel-tone crystal for the table or shelf.
