Bill Nelson Signed Index Card — NASA Administrator & U.S. Senator Autograph, COA
Cut signature card boldly inked in blue by Bill Nelson, the former Florida U.S. Senator who flew aboard Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-61-C) in 1986 and went on to serve as the 14th Administrator of NASA. The full "Bill Nelson" signature is cleanly executed with a confident underscore flourish, displaying well against the cream stock.
Nelson's career bridges American politics and spaceflight in a way few figures hold: a sitting Congressman who trained and flew as a payload specialist, then later returned to lead the agency itself. This lot comes directly from the collection of the individual who personally acquired the autograph. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Mesilla Valley Estate Sales and a signed letter from the original acquirer accompany the piece. Autograph material tying directly to that dual legacy carries appeal for space-program and political-signature collectors alike.
CONDITION
Very Good. Clean cream card stock with a bold, fully legible signature. Faint ink show-through on the blank reverse and a couple of minor handling specks to the stock. No creasing to the signature area.
