A finely modeled Goebel porcelain figurine depicting a mature bighorn ram in alert pose atop a craggy rocky outcrop. The piece showcases Goebel's signature naturalism, with sculpted musculature, finely brushed fur in warm cinnamon and umber tones, and a pair of weighty curled horns rendered in soft gray with subtle growth-ring detail. The lichen-streaked rocky base in cream and sage green grounds the composition and contrasts the rich coloring of the ram above.
Marked to the underside with the Goebel W. Germany stamp, paper label reading "Dickhornschaf / Bighorn Sheep / Mouflon du Canada" (German/English/French), an artist's monogram, and incised numerals "21 3."
