1962 Republic of Austria 25 Schilling silver commemorative coin honoring composer Anton Bruckner, designed by Edwin Grienauer and struck in .800 fine silver at the Austrian Mint, Vienna, which produced this issue without a mint mark.
This issue was struck to mark the 65th anniversary of Bruckner's death. Bruckner (1824–1896) was an Austrian composer of the late Romantic era, known for his symphonies, masses, and sacred choral works, and his portrait coin forms part of Austria's long-running 25 Schilling silver commemorative series (1955–1973).
