Beagle’s art reflects her interest in the Native people of the Southwest. Her colors are vibrant with an emphasis on lighting. "I like incorporating geometric or Native designs in my compositions to complement the faces and figures I paint.”While most of her art is created with oil on canvas, Beagle studied stone carving at workshops in northern New Mexico and has added works in alabaster, marble, and limestone to her repertoire. She has studied painting with Julie Ford Oliver and Carolyn Bunch. Her work has been seen in “Southwest Art,” “Art of the West,” and “Cowboys and Indians” magazines. Her husband makes all of her frames. For more information visit https://mbeagleart.com/.
