Description

Robert “Shoofly” Shufelt – None-Of-The-Same… Artist Proof Offset Lithograph, Signed & Framed

Offered is None-Of-The-Same…, an Artist Proof offset lithograph by renowned Western artist Robert “Shoofly” Shufelt. This finely detailed black-and-white work captures a cowboy driving a small herd of mixed cattle along a fence line, each animal’s distinctive markings reinforcing the piece’s title. Created from one of Shufelt’s signature graphite drawings, the print is pencil-signed in the lower right margin, numbered 21/40 in the lower left, and bears the artist’s embossed “Shoofly” seal. The title appears within the image, and it is dated 2001 in the artist’s hand.

This proof has been professionally framed behind glass with elegant beveled wood matting in a rustic wood frame, ready for display. As an Artist Proof, it is part of a smaller, more desirable subset of the edition traditionally reserved for the artist’s own use or special distribution.

Artist Biography:
Robert “Shoofly” Shufelt (b. 1935) is celebrated for his highly realistic portrayals of modern ranch life in the American West. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Shufelt left commercial illustration to live on a working cattle ranch in Arizona, where he immersed himself in cowboy culture. His painstaking graphite drawings, often transformed into limited-edition offset lithographs, are prized for their authenticity, detail, and narrative strength. Honors include the Great American Cowboy Award (2005) and New Mexico Artist of the Year (2007), and his work resides in major private and museum collections.
