David E. Garrison Conte Crayon Drawing – Rustic Watermill Scene, Barnwood Frame
This original Conte crayon drawing by noted American artist David E. Garrison captures the timeless beauty of a rustic watermill framed by trees and a quiet stream. Garrison applies traditional French Conte crayon over a gesso-primed masonite panel, achieving rich earthy tones, painterly texture, and refined detail. The work is sealed with a strong fixative, making it durable and suitable for display with or without glass. Presented in an authentic barnwood frame, this piece embodies the warmth, authenticity, and rural charm for which Garrison is known.
