Vintage GE Clock Radio C2425A-Beige – Mid-Century AM Alarm
This General Electric clock radio, Model C2425A-BEIGE, is a classic example of early 1970s American electronics design. Part of GE’s popular C-series line, it features a beige molded plastic housing with a bold black clock face and silver-toned trim. The unit is maker marked “General Electric” on the front, with a factory label affixed on the reverse identifying the model.
Designed with functionality and reliability in mind, this compact unit includes a mechanical analog clock, AM radio tuner (530–1600 kHz), and a "Wake to Music" alarm feature. Manual tuning and volume control are adjusted via side-mounted dials, and the layout reflects GE’s streamlined, modernist aesthetic of the time. Its two-tone finish and square form make it ideal for collectors, decorators, or retro-inspired interiors.
