Northwestern Model 60 1¢ Gumball Machine — Original Globe & Key
This is an original vintage Northwestern Model 60 gumball machine, featuring the maker-marked glass globe embossed “Northwestern, Morris, Ill.” and a steel cabinet stamped “24673.” Likely dating from the mid-20th century, this 1-cent machine sports a classic red enamel finish, authentic chrome coin mechanism, and flap dispenser. The globe retains its original “1¢” yellow decal, and the machine includes its original key, allowing access to the coin and mechanism compartments.
Constructed from heavy steel and glass, this unit showcases classic American vending craftsmanship with a distinctive industrial aesthetic. The embossed branding, sturdy build, and internal mechanism make it an attractive piece for collectors and decorators alike.
