Description

Kodak Brownie Flash Six-20 Camera — 1940s, Box Style, Made in USA

This is a Kodak Brownie Flash Six-20 camera, produced in the U.S.A. during the 1940s. Part of the iconic Brownie line that revolutionized home photography, this model was designed for simplicity, durability, and flash synchronization—making it a favorite among families and amateur shutterbugs of the postwar era.

The camera features a fixed-focus lens, optimized for subjects between 5 to 10 feet, and accepts 620 roll film. Its all-metal body is finished in a sleek, black enamel with pebbled leatherette panels, chrome accents, and a top-mounted optical viewfinder. The side lever selects between "I" (instant) and "B" (bulb) shutter settings, allowing for basic exposure flexibility.

Compact and sturdy, the Brownie Flash Six-20 also includes twin flash terminals for use with Kodak’s flash attachments. The retro molded handle, red film advance window, and clean typography give it timeless design appeal. Whether you’re collecting cameras or decorating a vintage-inspired interior, this Brownie offers both charm and American-made craftsmanship.
