Gourd Mask – Large Mixed Media Mask w/ Feathers, Found Objects & Jasper Beads

A visually arresting mixed media mask crafted from a natural gourd and signed “JB” on the interior. This bold and expressive piece features a dramatic fan of natural turkey feathers arranged in layered arcs, extending the visual spread to over two feet. The face is richly adorned with an eclectic mix of materials—black yarn lashes, synthetic fur hair, stitched crisscross yarn, painted accents, and various applied found objects including gears, buttons, and a metal frame.

At center, a carved wood peg serves as the nose, flanked by what appear to be Dalmatian jasper bead earrings, adding an ornamental gemstone-like detail.
