Teri Cajero Friendship Storyteller Bowl
Charming handcrafted storyteller-style pottery by Jemez Pueblo artist Teri Cajero. This round vessel features six figures—children and animals—gathered in a circle, each rendered in raised relief and hand-painted with bold, simple features. At the center, a conical shape possibly represents a central storyteller or symbolic fire. The vessel is adorned with traditional geometric and nature-inspired motifs, including trees and stars, in black over a speckled white background. A heartfelt and visually striking work that blends folk art charm with cultural heritage—perfect for collectors or as a distinctive decorative accent.
Condition:
In good condition, with light wear and minor scuffing consistent with age and handling. Notably, some surface scuffing is more visible on the white-spotted dog figure. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Please refer to images.
Dimensions:
Overall: 3 x 3½ x 3½ inches (Height x Width x Depth)
