George III Inlaid Mahogany Longcase Clock
'Lady of the Lake'
Antique George III mahogany eight day painted face grandfather clock having a swan neck pediment with a glazed arch door and flanked by two attractive turned column supports. The painted dial depicts a scene from the play "Lady of the Lake", each corner with arched roses - the ornate hands of the clock may be original. The hood also with matching carved pillars and headed by a swan neck pediment with brass eagle-mounted ball finials.
