Our longtime and dear friend Shannon Porch purchased this wacky rabbit painting from her friend and art teacher Michael Copeland several years ago. When Shannon passed prematurely last year, her kind husband Doug wanted 1CaT to benefit from Shannon's love of art, and he donated "Shannon's Rabbit" (and "Mr. Ruby, Too") to help our kitties. Check out the closeup photo to see some details of "Shannon's Rabbit". Valued at $500, "Shannon's Rabbit" has sentimental value for many of us who loved our dear Shannon.
About the Artist:
Michael Copeland, Alamogordo, NM
Michael works in two- and three- dimensional mixed media, watercolor, acrylic, oil, prismacolor and graphite on rag paper, masonite and canvas. Michael’s “abstracted” realism uses deep layers of color and line, struck by his sense of humor and subtle play. He has been creating works of art since the 1980s and was an art educator for 27 years, retiring in 2008.

Excellent - no condition issues of any kind.
