About the Artist:
Someone once asked me, "What does art mean to you?" My immediate thought and reply was, "It is my soul at play." Deep, rich colors, textures, fiber, metals and all sorts of found oddities spiral around me as I create mixed media art. It is a joy to be free to explore many techniques and make intuitive choices, crossing boundaries of painting, sculpture or quilting. Always evolving, I explore new inspirations for my creations, which could happen while walking down an alleyway, treasure hunting in an old barn, or visiting a fine museum. Life offers an unending source for artistic pursuits, all one has to do is observe and play.
