White Buffalo Woman-The white buffalo woman is a sacred legend in Lakota history. She is said to have brought the smoking pipe to the Lakota so that their prayers would reach from the earth to the sky and their prayers would be heard. The legend goes on to say that the white buffalo woman brought buffalo back to the Lakota when there was none to be found. This is the most sacred animal to the Lakota and there is great celebration when a white buffalo is born. This white buffalo woman has been adorned with a pipe and pipe bag because of  the importance of this legend. The Design on  the collar shows the sky, earth, and universe. The pouch shows the sun, and the pipe bag shows a pipe design that is Lakota and symbolizes the importance of the pipe and it's message.
