About the Artist:
Brian Cobble grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and has a BFA from New Mexico State University and an MFA from Southern Methodist University. He also attended the Skowhegan School (Skowhegan, Maine) and was twice a resident at the MacDowell Colony (Peterborough, New Hampshire). He is represented by Valley House Gallery in Dallas, Texas, and his work can be viewed online at www.valleyhouse.com. Cobble’s work is in many private collections and in a number of museums including the Dallas Museum and the New Mexico Museum of Art. He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife Julie, a biologist, and a passel of dogs.
