In new condition - 64 Count of Original Crayola Crayons - never been used.Collectors Item copyright 1988 Binney & Smith
The Crayola No 64 box was completely redesigned. Only the thick Crayola name remained from the prior design but they dropped that down off the lid to make room for a mock window. A real window wasn’t possible since the crayons are arranged in stadium configuration inside. The 64 went to the top upper left of the mock window and “Different Brilliant Colors” went to the upper right. The Chevrons moved from a solid with two line design to a solid that transitions into a thick lighter green section and then two lighter green lines. They dropped one of the trademarks on the Chevrons. The sizing was removed from the front but they kept the crayon count at the bottom. Their new trademarked theme logo with the child in the middle was placed just above that. Instead of a larger red banner directing a consumer to the back of the box, Crayola instead chose to put “Built-in Sharpener” in red.
