Bridget Hoff Postmodern Hand-Painted Footed Lidded Box, 1980s
This lidded box is a miniature architectural statement: a matte black wood body on four purple ball feet, its lid built as a ziggurat — purple plinth dotted with red and green painted beads, orange platform, terracotta block, matte gold half-dome — and crowned with a carved bone or antler feather finial threaded onto a green bead pin.
CONDITION
Good overall, no remarkable damage. Paint surfaces carry minor handling wear consistent with age and use. The carved feather finial is intact and seated securely in its bead mount.
