Faux Bamboo & Woven Wicker Table Lamp in Sunflower Yellow, 1970s
A cheerful 1970s table lamp built around a turned faux bamoo column and a scalloped, dome-shaped woven wicker shade, the whole piece finished in a saturated sunflower yellow. The turned wood standard rises from a weighted round metal base to a matching bamboo-form finial at the shade's crown, while the shade itself pairs open lattice weave with a solid woven band and a soft scalloped skirt. Beneath the wicker sits a fluted white glass diffuser globe that softens the output.
The lamp runs on a 3-way switch and is tested and fully functional. Unmarked, it reflects the era's appetite for tropical and boho-leaning lighting — the kind of coastal, palm-adjacent form that reads well in a sunroom, reading nook, or as a color accent against neutral walls.
CONDITION
Good and fully functional; tested and working on all three switch settings. Scuffing and finish wear/loss to the painted surfaces, including paint loss at the base collar and scattered marks along the column. Wicker shade intact with even color.
