Bimota builds a few hundred motorcycles a year, by hand, in Rimini — and the DB6 Delirio is one of the more significant of the marque’s Ducati-powered revival era. Penned by Sergio Robbiano, it wraps a 992cc Ducati “Dual Spark” air/oil-cooled L-twin in a chrome-molybdenum steel trellis braced with machined aluminum plates — the “Traliccio Composito” frame that defines the bike. This is the USA version, delivered new through Bimota North America against a $29,400 MSRP. It runs the signature Ducati dry clutch, a 6-speed gearbox, Brembo four-piston front brakes on dual 320mm discs, and 50mm Marzocchi upside-down forks.

Offered from an estate, this Delirio runs, rides, and is in good condition throughout. The bike currently wears a Zard carbon-can exhaust; the complete OEM exhaust is included, along with the factory tool kit, owner’s manual, spare OEM mirrors, lighting hardware, and a full paper trail from new (Bimota North America dealer invoice, selling-dealer invoice, and New Mexico title/registration). It comes from the estate of a senior collector, single-owned since 2009, and carries a clean CARFAX — no accidents, no damage, no airbag deployment, and no open recalls. One disclosure bidders should note: the odometer is inoperable. The seller recorded approximately 7,521 miles the last time the cluster displayed correctly; because it no longer functions, the New Mexico title carries a Not Actual Mileage designation and mileage is not certified. CARFAX indicates no odometer rollback or tampering. As always, we encourage an in-person inspection or a live video walkthrough before bidding.

Timing belts: The Ducati Dual Spark engine drives its cams with rubber timing belts that require periodic replacement on a time-and-mileage interval (typically every ~2 years or roughly 7,500 miles, whichever comes first) regardless of use. Last belt service is not documented — budget to inspect and, if due, replace before riding, and confirm the interval with a Ducati/Bimota specialist.

Charging system: Electrical systems function. Note that Ducati L-twins of this era are known for regulator/rectifier wear as they age — a routine item to monitor.

Recalls: CARFAX reports no open recalls for this VIN, and no open safety recall campaigns are known for the Bimota DB6. Bidders may verify free at nhtsa.gov by VIN, or with a Ducati/Bimota specialist, prior to purchase.
