Sterling Souvenir Spoons — Colorado, Montana, New York & Wyoming, Set of 4
A grouping of four American sterling silver souvenir teaspoons from the height of the souvenir spoon craze, circa 1890–1910. Each is maker-marked and stamped STERLING on the reverse, and each carries regional decoration in relief handle and engraved bowl.
- Colorado — bowl engraved "GATEWAY GARDEN OF THE GODS" over a scenic relief; handle reads COLORADO and terminates in the state shield
- Montana — "ORO Y PLATA" state motto finial over a mountain cartouche; figural handle
- New York — open-work handle with a skyscraper cutout; NEW YORK CITY along the shaft
- Wyoming — bowl engraved "Cheyenne" in script; frontier figural finial and foliate handle
Condition: Good. Toning and tarnish throughout, with light wear consistent with age. We'll leave the polishing to you.
