Waterford Crystal Lismore Cut Lead Crystal Champagne Flutes, Pair in Box
A pair of Waterford Crystal champagne flutes in the Lismore pattern, hand-cut in lead crystal with the pattern's signature diamond and vertical wedge motifs across the flared bowl. Each flute transitions from the cut bowl to a plain faceted stem and a rayed cut foot. The base carries the acid-etched Waterford mark. Both flutes retain their original Waterford Crystal presentation box with black satin lining and the Waterford medallion seal.
Designed to echo the faceted stonework of Lismore Castle in County Waterford, the Lismore pattern was introduced in 1952 and remains Waterford's flagship and most recognized design. The Irish maker, re-established in 1947, ranks among the best-known names in fine crystal. This box style is consistent with production from the 1980s through the 2000s. The intact original box carries a meaningful premium over loose pairs on the secondary market.
CONDITION
Very Good. No chips, cracks, or cloudiness noted; the cut detail remains crisp and the crystal clear. Original box intact and in usable condition with minor exterior wear to the lid.
