Solid Oak Rectangular Coffee Table with Notched Skirt & Post Legs
A sturdy solid oak coffee table built for daily use, with a substantial 1"-thick top and heavy 3½" × 3½" post legs that give it real presence low to the floor. The skirt carries a stepped, notched apron detail — a small carved flourish that breaks up the mass and lends a subtle architectural rhythm to each side. The oak shows warm honey tone throughout, with strong cathedral grain across the top and quarter-figure running the legs.
The construction is honest and robust: thick stock, square legs, and a top with softly eased edges. Unmarked as to maker. The proportions and stepped apron read as a solid, craftsman-built piece meant to anchor a seating group and take the weight of books, trays, and everyday living.
