Description

Solid Oak Five-Drawer Chest with Stepped Pueblo-Motif Pulls, Cedar-Lined Top

A solid oak tallboy chest built with clean, architectural lines. Each of the five drawer fronts carries a carved stepped-diamond pull — a raised geometric motif echoing pueblo and Rio Grande weaving patterns — that doubles as grip and ornament. The top edge repeats the stepped terracing across a recessed brow above the first drawer, and the ribbon-figured oak grain runs boldly across the drawer faces and side panels.

Construction is heavy-duty throughout: substantial oak drawer boxes ride on center glides with light-toned interiors, and the top drawer is cedar-lined for protecting linens and woolens.

CONDITION

Very Good. Some surface scratching consistent with use and a small chip to one side; no structural damage. Drawers operate smoothly and the finish remains warm and even.
