Marble-Top Turned Column Pedestal Plant Stand
A tall turned-column pedestal stand pairing a warm hardwood base with an added white marble top. The single, gently tapering center column is turned with a ring collar at the midpoint and a fluted, faceted swell above the socle. It rises from a concave quadripartite platform base resting on scrolled block feet. The marble is a single 1"-thick slab with soft grey and charcoal veining and a molded, rounded edge.
Purpose-built as a display or plant pedestal, the elevated form and modest footprint suit a corner, an entry, or alongside a sculpture bust. The wood is unmarked and has been refinished.
CONDITION
Good. Age-appropriate wear throughout with no remarkable damage; the piece has been refinished. Marble top is intact with natural veining; the marble is a later addition to the stand.
