Diamond-Point Parcel-Gilt Black Two-Door Console Cabinet
A striking geometric console in solid wood, unmarked, with a matte-black case and four gilded diamond-point door fronts arranged in vertical stacks of three. The raised pyramidal panels catch light across their faceted planes, framed by ebonized stiles and rails, and echoed by a pair of faceted gold pentagonal knobs at the center opening. Splayed, tapered feet are finished in matching gilt.
Behind the two functioning doors is a single open bay with one fully removable and adjustable shelf, the interior finished in warm brown. Two rear cord pass-throughs make this equally suited to media use or open storage. The high-contrast black-and-gold palette and hard-edged relief read as a bold statement piece for an entry, living room, or against a dark wall where the gilding does the work.
CONDITION
Good. Scratches throughout the top with scattered chips, scuffing, and finish wear/loss to the ebonized surfaces; the interior shelf shows noticeable damage. No remarkable structural damage — doors operate and the shelf is fully removable and adjustable.
