Lladró "Sueño de Fantasía" Reclining Nude Fairy Porcelain Figurine, No. 1401
A large Lladró porcelain study of a sleeping winged fairy, the nude figure reclining full-length with a pale blue-grey drape across the hips, her head resting on folded arms atop a floral-embossed blue cushion. Long green-toned hair spills across her shoulder, and the delicate openwork butterfly wings are washed in soft coral, lavender, and blue — the pierced, latticed detail typical of the factory's more ambitious decorative work. The underside carries the impressed blue Lladró backstamp with DAISA 1982 copyright and the incised model reference, confirming the maker.
Modeled as "Sueño de Fantasía" (Dream of Fantasy), factory number 1401, this piece dates to the early 1980s and rests on a shaped mahogany-finish wood base. It retains its original Lladró shipping carton, which carries the matching model illustration and number on the end label. The porcelain figure and the wood base are separate components; the base is not currently attached.
CONDITION
Good. The porcelain grades well with no observed damage to the figure or wings. The wood base shows surface scratching across the top and a chip to the edge that has been touched up. The original box shows age-appropriate wear, tape, and edge tearing as shown.
