Newcastle Mid-Century Flared-Arm Tufted Bench, Java/Flax
A Newcastle KD Fabric Tufted Bench in a beige flax linen-weave upholstery, built on a mid-century-modern silhouette. The rectangular seat carries a loose, button-tufted cushion over a piped platform, flanked by two gently flared, upswept arms that give the bench its distinctive winged profile. Four splayed, tapered legs in a darkened Java finish complete the low, elongated stance.
Manufactured for New Pacific Direct Inc. with a production date of September 2020, this is a versatile entry bench, bed-end bench, or window seat. Construction is a polyurethane foam pad with polyester fiber batting over a knock-down wood frame; the maker's tag is intact. The pattern reference reads 19-20014.
