Woodland Tree Silhouette Sphere Fire Pit with Domed Screen & Poker
A spherical steel fire pit built around a deep bowl and a hinged, dome-lifting mesh cage, the whole form banded by wide iron straps and set on four splayed tubular legs. The upper dome swings open on a pivot for loading and tending; a strap handle at the crown and paired ring handles at the equator give lift points on both halves. The signature detail is the cut-and-applied bare-tree silhouette — trunks and branches worked in flat and rod stock against fine woven mesh, so a lit fire throws a shifting forest shadow in every direction.
Construction is all iron: fine mesh screen over a heavier bowl, Phillips-head fasteners at the strap junctions, and a removable inner ash catcher that lifts out for cleaning. A matching L-hook poker is included for working the cage open and tending coals. This is a functional outdoor piece with real use behind it, the kind of sculptural fire feature that works as a yard focal point as readily as a fire.
CONDITION
Good with honest signs of use. Expected rust and oxidation across the mesh, straps, and bowl, with heavier coloration at the weld and fastener points; interior shows ash and burn residue consistent with firings. Structurally sound; dome pivots and legs are intact.
