Signed Mirta lower right, this oil on stretched canvas depicts a weathered timber cabin at the edge of a dense evergreen forest, a rail fence and pale birch trees drawing the eye across a sunlit clearing. The palette-knife handling is heavy and textural — thick impasto builds the rough plank walls and the sandy foreground path, while a lighter touch renders the layered pines and the cloud-broken sky. The signature repeats in the reference close-up, confirming the artist's hand.
The work is presented in an ornate gilt frame with foliate corner cartouches and a linen-wrapped liner, giving the rustic scene a formal, gallery-ready setting.
