Cristallerie Oberursel Lead Crystal Brandy Snifters in Mark Cross Case, Pair
A pair of German lead crystal brandy snifters by Cristallerie Oberursel, each etched with the rampant lion crest, presented in the original Mark Cross fitted presentation case. Foil labels to the underside of each foot read "Cristallerie Oberursel, over 24% PBO, Made in Germany," confirming the full-lead crystal composition. The balloon bowls sit on short stems and broad circular feet, with the frosted heraldic motif centered on each bowl.
The brown silk-lined case carries the gilt Mark Cross lion-and-arch logo with "Established 1845" to the interior lid, the New York leather and luxury-goods house whose presentation pieces are prized for their pairing of European craftsmanship with American retail pedigree. The blue grosgrain-lined tray holds both glasses; the box closes with a decorative brass latch.
CONDITION
Very Good. The glasses are perfect with no chips, cracks, or losses. Some storage wear to the presentation case.
