Noritake New Decade "Marble Canyon" 67-Piece China Service
The Marble Canyon pattern does something most dinnerware doesn't — it reads as sophisticated on a formal table and completely at home on a casual one. Noritake's New Decade line brought Japanese porcelain craftsmanship into everyday use, and this pattern is one of the better ones: a soft marbled cream ground edged with a geometric border of stacked triangles in slate blue, sage, terracotta, and warm gold, the whole thing finished with a fine blue rim line. The motif draws from the canyon country palette without leaning into cliché. These are plates that look intentional.
At 67 pieces, this service can seat eight comfortably with room to spare — dinner plates, salad plates, teacups, saucers, and three sizes of bowls, all in matched sets of eight or nine. The serveware is what completes the picture: covered sugar, creamer, gravy boat, salt and pepper shakers, two serving bowls, a serving dish, and two trays. Everything is present. Every piece backstamped detergent, microwave, and oven safe. This is a table service you actually use.
